Uniting to Defeat Sickle Cell

This unique event, grounded in compassion and unity, has been attracting over 500 participants each year. Our diverse group of runners and walkers not only includes fitness enthusiasts but also individuals, families, and friends directly affected by Sickle Cell, all coming together to support this worthy cause. The energy, commitment, and hope that reverberates through our participants each year is nothing short of inspiring.

The mission of this event aligns seamlessly with the vision of Kier’s Hope Foundation - to bring hope, support, and awareness to those grappling with Sickle Cell. By standing together, we can make a difference and illuminate the path of hope for countless individuals. Each step taken, each mile run, brings us closer to a world where Sickle Cell no longer overshadows lives, but where every individual can live a life of hope, resilience, and strength.

KIER'S HOPE DAY

We have seen remarkable successes since our inception. Through the dedication and tireless efforts of Kier and the entire foundation, we achieved a historical milestone in 2018 when the City of Dallas forever recognized the first Saturday in June as Kier’s Hope Day.

KIER'S HOPE SICKLE CELL AWARENESS MONTH

The following year, in 2019, the State Senate of Texas took our mission to another level by declaring June as Kier’s Hope Sickle Cell Awareness Month. These recognitions are not just accolades but testaments to the difference we are making in the lives of people affected by Sickle Cell.
